We are a resource recovery company. Resource recovery is a way to utilize and reuse local, natural resources.  It reduces the amount of waste for disposal by recycling material.  We save space in landfills and conserve our natural resources. As stewards of our beautiful mountains, and our natural resources we need a way to make more with less.

According to the EPA, “Yard trimmings and food residuals together constitute 24% of the U.S. municipal solid waste stream.”  Organic materials and yard trimmings can be given a second life as a soil amendment. S.U.N.R.I.S.E. makes its own compost from local yard debris and other sources.
